Our mission is simple: to become the ultimate quiz-based esports platform powered by a strong and passionate community. We believe that by combining the thrill of competitive gaming with knowledge testing, we can create an arena where learning is not a chore, but an addiction.
Behind The Story
Quizy (originally code-named "Jungle") was initiated on December 5, 2025. I started building it using Flutter with mobile devices in mind, before eventually pivoting to a fully-fledged web experience. At the time, I was working long hours as a lab assistant from 8 AM to 6 PM. I poured my free time into this project—coding in the lab between tasks and staying up late into the night.
As the months passed, the platform grew increasingly complex. I tried building a team, recruiting colleagues twice, but due to limited funding and differing commitments, I ultimately pushed forward as a solo developer.
Then, on February 26, 2026, my father passed away. It was a profoundly painful time, and I stepped away from the project for three months to heal. In May, I found the strength to return. I bought the domain, completely refactored the codebase from Flutter to Next.js, and poured everything I had into building this vision.
I built this because I love quizzes, and I simply couldn't find a platform that truly satisfied that competitive itch. Watching this project evolve has continually opened my mind to develop new ideas and possibilities.
